happy friday!

day two of jed being over while andrea teaches + him & bentley not having the put one toy away before you get another one out rule....resulted in this. but it was worth it because they were occupied for hours, i got other chores done, & when i did go to sort & get everything put away i trashed a few random objects that hand found their way into the toy box. so all is well! have a good weekend, are you headed to a high school football game? we are! fingers crossed for no rain.

i feel sheepish.
awkward to type.
you know when you have a pile of christmas thank-you notes? and there they sit, staring at you, halfway through january & then finally in february you just throw them away so you can rid yourself of the guilt?
yeah.
that's how i feel.
the pictures from the end of august & ALL of september have been staring at me.

hot days slowly fading into sunny, but cooler days.
and they have felt good. (ok, lets not forget that they have also brought their fair share of seasonal allergies. LOTS of sneezing has filled my days.)

fall means school has started which means andrea has a few sub days which means jed comes to play! and play they do!

hello!
whew! it has been a while.
we have been busy, busy, busy!
now, sitting here going through the last 3 weeks of pictures, helps me process the days.
isn't it crazy how fast time passes?
but looking back on all we have done does show me a lot of days.
a lot of playing,
snacking,
talking,
driving.

way back in the middle of july, my sisters & brother-in-law & nieces all came back from south carolina! there was a fun wedding, a mini birthday party for B, the pool, late night gas station runs, & coffee. Darrin & Kami both were helping with their churches youth retreat, so they went back & Mary + the girls got to stay a bit longer! so more coffee, the zoo, the farm, the fair, the rodeo, & back to the gas station for snacks.

so excited to pick up our cousins at the airport!
