friday notes.

:: did you watch it's the great pumpkin, charlie brown last night? bentley was totally into it...for a few minutes.

:: did you get a new chair from your grandmother? we did. it even has an ottomen that bentley is using as a giant step/diving board slide(on to the chair cushion)/jungle gym. it's super plaid, super cute, just what we needed.

:: since we needed to rotate chairs (and that is never as easy as it seems), shawn got out the screw drivers to take the rockers of the glider to fit it into bentleys room. the doorway is THAT narrow. but i was almost happy for that, because it gave me a chance to observe bentley helping his dad. i try all day to come up with fun activities, that usually are fun for 5 minutes. dad gets out a screwdriver, and he is BUSY for 1+ hours! it was so cute. shawn would loudly give directions (go ask mom for the screw & washer) and bentley would come over to me & "ask". it was just so fun (for me, as i wasn't the one doing the manual labor :).

:: i made potato soup for supper last night. kind of a process, but definatly worth it. a lot of times when i am making supper i think, supper time is a terrible time for supper. does that make sense? its the time when i am supposed to be doing a million baking things, but it's also the time where B is maxing out. done playing, not really wanting a snack, just kind of wanting dad to be home. so we hold a baby on one hip, and stir our soup...and pray traffic isn't bad.

::first basketball game of the season today for the grace lady royals...

:: the verse that i have been trying to filter my thoughts & words through. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law"

::halloween costumes to finish this weekend! as well as more basketball, a husker game, and i'm sure plenty of other activities.

:: happy friday!
