burnt.

Isn’t it cute when your husband helps out in the kitchen?
Be careful. He may get a little reckless. He may try and multi-task.

He may try and talk to you, or pose while you snap a shot. And he just may start the thumb of your super-cute, super-reliable kitchen-aid oven mitt on fire. Twice.

WARNING: THE BEST WAY TO START YOUR OVEN MITT (OR I SUPPOSE WHATEVER  YOU WANT) ON FIRE IS TO TOUCH THE COILS. YOU KNOW, THOSE SCARY HOT THINGS THAT SNAKE THROUGH THE TOP OF YOUR OVEN?

And people wonder why I am leery of taking things out of the oven. Because it is dangerous, folks! I mean, it could have been his arm that burst into flames, or a sleeve! No worries though. I am not deterred. I will not be scared of the oven. ( I will not be scared, I will not be scared, I will not….)

Stay tuned for more adventures in the kitchen. {thanks for all the recipe feedback! i will try one out + post a new one next week!}
