zoo time.

is it zoo time already? february? in nebraska?
probably not.
but we went anyway!
it was to nice of a day to resist.
i was surprised that bentley wasn't as into it as i had thought he would be.
it was a little overwhelming to him.
he preferred to be snuggled in the stroller, held by his mom, or carried around by his aunties.
his three favorite things at the zoo were Joe, any other little kid running around, and the jellyfish.
i hope to get to the zoo a lot more this spring & summer...what a great way to walk 5 miles with out hating it. oh yes, i had on my pedometer. we aren't just having fun...we are working out!

bentley's first rodeo.

a few weeks ago we were in Atkinson, NE for a week. One of the nights we were there, we drove down to Burwell for the rodeo! it was really great. i have been to a lot of rodeos...and this might have been my favorite! Bentley did great, sleeping almost the whole time!

zoo.

Bentley made his first trip to the zoo! he was more interested in eating the entire time...so we didn't make it to far. but it was a start. we have gone to the henry doorly zoo ever since i was a little girl (i have spent many birthdays there). my mom loved to take us! so, for my birthday, she gave me a zoo pass so i can take my kiddo! i wish i was brave enough just to pack up bentley & go for a walk at the zoo. what a fun way to exercise!
